About Me
I’ve always been drawn to the unique challenges and joys that come with the newborn stage. Over the years, I’ve noticed that while many families are told “it takes a village,” the actual support system is often missing during those crucial early days. My journey started as a nanny, where I spent nearly a decade working with families of all kinds, many who welcomed new babies during my time with them. This experience gave me firsthand insight into the postpartum period, newborn stage, and how essential it is for families to have support during that time. This inspired me to dedicate my career to providing that much-needed care by helping families build a foundation they can thrive on for years to come.
Along the way, I embraced babywearing—a practice I found invaluable both personally and professionally. After becoming a certified babywearing educator, I realized how small adjustments can make an enormous difference in a family’s experience with their newborn. Beyond this, I also hold certifications as a postpartum and infant care doula, while continuing my education in areas such as safe sleep and childhood nutrition. Staying up to date with my CPR and first aid certifications ensures that I’m prepared to handle any situation safely and confidently.

My
Approach
Today, I offer comprehensive family support services, including postpartum care, newborn care, babywearing education, and guidance in preparing for a new baby’s arrival. My specialties include providing support for families with multiples, helping parents recover from C-sections, fostering sibling bonding, offering care for non-birthing parents, and more. I firmly believe in providing an evidence-based practice. To ensure that the care I offer is rooted in research and proven methods, I stay current with the guidelines set by the American Association of Pediatrics (AAP), National Institute of Health (NIH), and American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), as well as continuing related education.
I understand there is no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to supporting families during this transitional phase. Each family is unique, and I tailor my approach accordingly whether they’ leaning towards an attachment, schedule-based, or a blend of parenting styles. Open communication is always at the core of my work and I’m committed to adapting to ever changing needs. By recognizing that different situations require specific care, listening to the family’s needs, and maintaining a flexible approach, I’m able to meet them exactly where they are without judgement.
My philosophy centers around gentleness and inclusivity. I strive to approach every family without expectations while providing a compassionate ear for their concerns. Where some families may need hands-on support, I take care of the day-to-day tasks to allow parents to rest and reset. While others may seek practical guidance, I offer tips and strategies that empower families to make informed decisions, self-advocate, and navigate the challenges of early parenthood with confidence. No matter the need, my goal is to ensure that every member of the family feels supported, heard, and cared for no matter their background or experience.
